A man is to stand trial accused of murdering his grandparents on Boxing Day 2021.

Tobyn Salvatore, 20, is to appear at the High Court after allegedly attacking his grandparents Denis and Mary Fell, both 73, at their home in Livingston, West Lothian, on December 26.

The couple were found dead by police in their home on Raeburn Rigg at around 11.40pm.

Prosecutors first claim Salvatore killed Mr Fell by striking him on the head and body with a knife or knives.

Salvatore is then accused of repeatedly stabbing Mrs Fell and severing her hand from her arm.
