A three-year-old girl who died after being knocked down by a car in Fife has been named by police.
Robyn Knox, from Cardenden, was struck by a blue Nissan Micra in Main Street, Townhill, at around 10.10am on Monday.
She was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, where she died a short time later.
No one else was injured in the collision.
Sergeant Stephen Quinn, of Road Policing East, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of Robyn at this extremely difficult time.
“I wish to send my thanks to the emergency service crews and members of the public who assisted at the scene.
“I would also like to reiterate my request that the privacy of the family is respected during this time.”
