Two people have been charged after a man was struck by a van in an attempted murder bid in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called after a 29-year-old man was struck by a van on Prestonfield Avenue at around 9.40pm on September 26.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
On Friday, police confirmed two men, aged 28, have been arrested and charged in connection with the attack.
The men have appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Detective Constable Joanne Roberston said: “Extensive enquiries were carried out to trace those involved and I would like to thank members of the public who got in touch.”
