A driver was airlifted to hospital after a crash on a slip road in Stirling.
Emergency services were called to the slip road at J1 on the M876 after a black Vauxhall Corsa and a blue VW Crafter van were involved in a collision at around 3.15pm on Saturday.
The driver of the Corsa, a 32-year-old woman, was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe her condition as serious.
The driver of the van, a 31-year-old man and the passenger from the van was not injured and the road reopened at 10pm.
Constable Calum Gracie, Road Policing Unit, Stirling, said: “We are appealing to any motorists on the M876 who saw the crash or who may have any information or dash cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
