Two people have been left injured following a crash in Edinburgh.
A 56-year-old woman was struck by a motorbike while crossing Pier Place road at around 3.20pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services attended the scene and she was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where she is being treated for a leg injury.
Medical staff have described her condition as stable.
A 61-year-old man, who was travelling on the Triumph motorbike, was also injured in the incident.
He was taken to hospital and treated for a leg injury before being released.
Officers investigating the crash are now appealing for witnesses and would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash-cam footage of the incident.
