Two police officers injured in disturbance at property 

Two police officers have been injured in a disturbance in Glenrothes.

Emergency services were called to a property on Malcolm Road around 10.50am on Saturday following reports of a disturbance.

Two officers were injured as a result of the incident, with one treated at the scene and the other taken to hospital for treatment.

A 21-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection.

A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
