Two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a murder bid near a Tesco Express in Edinburgh.
A 32-year-old man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries during the attack in Gracemount Drive at around 8pm on Thursday, November 11.
On Wednesday, Police Scotland confirmed two men – aged 21 and 38 – had been charged in relation to the incident.
The 21-year-old suspect appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old is due in the dock on Thursday.
Detective inspector Bob Campbell said: “Violent crime will not be tolerated in Edinburgh and I would like to pass on our thanks to everybody who has helped with our investigation into this incident.”
