Two people have been taken to hospital after a rush hour crash on the M9.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision between junctions six and seven heading southbound at around 7.28am on Tuesday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service sent two ambulances, a special operations response team and a critical care team.
Medical crews transported two people to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. The seriousness of their injuries is not known.
The carriageway was initially closed but has since reopened.
A SAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.28am today to attend a road traffic collision on the M9.
“We dispatched two ambulances, our special operations response team and our critical care team to the scene. We transported two patients to Forth Valley Royal Hospital.”
