Police pulled over a Volkswagen Golf to find the driver’s seat was detached and the handbrake wasn’t working.
The car was being driven through Threemiletown in West Lothian when officers from Livingston Road Police stopped it.
“The driver’s seat was not secure, the handbrake didn’t work, no power steering and one of the tyres had a cut,” the force said.
Police posted a picture of the vehicle on social media, which was seized under ASBO legislation, showing the driver’s seat pointing diagonally to the sky.
Officers said a 42-year-old man had been reported for the offences.
