Woman, 81, and driver taken to hospital after car crashes into house

An 81-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a house in Fife.

Emergency services were called to a property on Woodlands Bank, Dalgety Bay, at around 3.25pm on Saturday.

An 81-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car, a man, was also taken to hospital. He will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.25pm on Saturday, 8 November, 2025, officers were called to a report of a car having crashed into a house on Woodlands Bank, Dalgety Bay.

“Emergency services attended and an 81-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car, a man, was also taken to hospital for treatment.

“He will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.”
