iStockA woman and dog were left injured after being attacked by another dog in Edinburgh.
The woman was with her Cairn Terrier dog on Prestonfield Avenue around 2.30pm on January 14 when they were attacked.
The 57-year-old woman received treatment at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary while her dog had to undergo treatment at the vets.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or witnessed the incident to get in touch.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the incident to contact Police Scotland, quoting incident number 2042 of Tuesday, January 14, 2025.”
