Police are on the hunt for a gang of youths after a woman was assaulted on a canal path near Falkirk Wheel.
The 28-year-old victim was walking near to the tourist attraction’s visitor centre when she was approached by the six-strong mob.
Four males and two females, who were described as between 11 and 20-years-old, verbally abused her using sexualised language and then proceeded to assault her.
Two of the youths were on black and white bikes.
The incident happened at around 6.45pm on Wednesday.
A force spokesperson said: “This incident was extremely traumatic for the victim and police are keen to identify those responsible.”
