A 77-year-old woman has been rushed to hospital following a dog attack in Clackmannanshire.
Emergency services were called out to Dovecot Road in Alloa following the incident and seized the animal, understood to be an XL bully type dog.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Wednesday, December 20 we were called to a report of a 77-year-old woman having been injured by a dog on Dovecot Road, Tullibody, Alloa.
“Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The dog has been seized and enquiries are ongoing.”
