Disney UKToy Story star Buzz Lightyear has been given a Scottish makeover ahead of Wednesday evening’s crucial World Cup match against Brazil.
The animated character, who stars in Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 5, appeared to showcase his support for the Scots in a post on Instagram.
In the image, Buzz wears a teal and purple kilt, a brown sporran and carries a Scotland flag emblazoned with ‘Mon the Scotland’.
In a post on Instagram, Disney UK said: “To Infinity, Boston, Miami, and Beyond! Scottish fans bring the Buzz.”
The post was accompanied by a rocket emoji and a Scottish flag emoji.
It comes as Scotland face Brazil in their final Group C match on Wednesday evening in Miami.
Steve Clarke’s men could be on the brink of history if they secure a win, which would see the team qualify for the knockout stages of a major tournament for the first time.
A draw would most likely seal a top-three finish and progress to the last 32.
However, even a defeat could be enough, depending on the outcome of the results in other groups.
