Scots have been offered the chance to win a luxury lunch with Hollywood superstar George Clooney as part of a fundraiser for a homeless charity.
In a prize draw launched by the Social Bite, a £10 entry allows one person and a plus-one a chance to have an “intimate” lunch with the Oscar-winning actor at the Gleneagles Hotel.
The winner will have lunch with the Ocean’s Eleven star, who shot to fame in the medical drama ER, between April 28 and 30, and will then be treated to an overnight stay at the luxury Perthshire hotel.
The prize includes 1st class rail travel to Gleneagles.
A statement on the Itison website states: “He needs no introduction. He’s Dr Ross, Danny Ocean, the Fantastic Mr Fox. He’s a double Oscar-winner, writer, producer.
“He’s an activist who’s as recognised for his global humanitarian efforts as he is for his accomplishments in the entertainment industry.
“Donate to win lunch as part of a small, intimate group with Hollywood star George Clooney!
“In support of Social Bite, the prize includes an overnight stay at the iconic Gleneagles. All donations support Social Bite’s movement to end homelessness.”
