Glasgow’s OVO Hydro has been crowned the UK’s best live entertainment venue of the year.

The 14,000-capacity venue came out on top at the Live Awards in London on Wednesday night after winning UK Venue of the Year.

In 2024, the landmark hosted over 140 of the world’s biggest music, sporting, theatre, and comedy events, including the iconic WWE Clash at the Castle in June.

The venue was also the first live entertainment hub to achieve A Greener Arena certification, meaning the venue was recognised for being a leader in sustainability.
