Royal couple Meghan and Harry’s first TV appearance together since leaving the UK will be shown on STV.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who moved to America in 2019 and are no longer working royals, have been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey.
The exclusive interview is believed to have covered a range of issues including press intrusion, Meghan’s transition from actress to royal and the death of Harry’s mother Princess Diana.
In a clip released as an advert for the interview, Harry can be seen telling Winfrey: “My biggest concern was history repeating itself.”
Questions have been raised about the appropriateness of Harry and Meghan’s interview, which chat show queen Winfrey has promised will be “shocking” with “nothing off limits”.
Harry’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, 99, has been unwell in hospital for more than two weeks, and was transferred to St Bartholomew’s Hospital on Monday for tests on a pre-existing heart condition.
Oprah with Meghan and Harry will be aired on Monday, March 8 at 9pm.
