Kourtney Kardashian shares health update after Blink-182 shows cancelled

Husband Travis Barker rushed home from Glasgow due to the 'family emergency'.

Kourtney Kardashian has shared a health update with fans after being admitted to hospital for “urgent fetal surgery”.

The 44-year-old reality star shared the news via Instagram in a post where she confirmed she was grateful to be “walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy”.

It comes after Blink-182 cancelled their Glasgow and Ireland shows as the bands drummer, and Kardashian’s husband, Travis Barker rushed home due to a “family emergency”.

On Friday last week, Barker posted stories from the prayer room at Glasgow Airport without any comment.

On Thursday, Kardashian posted an image of her holding hands with Barker with a caption that read: “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.

“Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

The couple are currently expecting their first child together and briefly opened up about their IVF journey on the Disney+ and Hulu show The Kardashians. Kourtney has three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Travis Barker took to X to update fans, and confirming that Blink-182 would return to the stage on Friday, September 8.

The post read: “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”

Blink-182’s Scottish shows were supposed to kickstart the European leg of their worldwide Rock Hard tour.

It is the first tour since the band’s classic line-up of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker reunited in nearly a decade.
