Lewis Capaldi has revealed the impressive achievements of his primary school days with a newspaper clipping recognising his award-winning attendance record.
The singer shared the clipping on Twitter with the caption: “That’s the difference between me and you. Cause while you were sitting around waiting, doing nish. I was out making moves. #NoDaysOff.”
The article shows Capaldi pictured with two fellow West Lothian school pupils and local councillor Andrew Miller.
Capaldi represents St Joseph’s Primary school in Whitburn in his blue school uniform.
All pupils were rewarded watches and certificates for 96% or more school attendance.
Quoted in the article, councillor Andrew Miller, the former executive councillor for education, said: “I’m delighted that we have recognised these conscientious young people for their impressive achievements.”
Fans have responded to the image commenting on Capaldi’s long, dark hairstyle which has been branded both “adorable” and “stylish”.
One person commented: “That’s a statement haircut for sure”. While another added: “bring back the hair cut”.
