Metallica are set to make their long-awaited return to Scotland this summer.

The band announced they would be bringing their M72 World Tour to Glasgow’s Hampden Park for one night only on June 25.

Following the Scottish show, the band will go on to play the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and the London Stadium.

The tour, which started in Amsterdam in 2023, has seen the band perform for over four million fans worldwide.

For the Glasgow show, fans will be able to catch performances from Gojira and Knocked Loose, who will be opening the show.

How to get tickets

Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday, May 20, at 10am.

They can be purchased on the SEC website.
