My Mum, Your Dad: Davina McCall set to host new 'middle-aged Love Island'

New details have been released about a groundbreaking new dating show hosted by Davina McCall, set to hit TV screens later this year.

Described by the hostess as “middle-aged Love Island”, the show was initially teased by ITV under the working title of The Romance Retreat.

This week, it was revealed that the show will be My Mum, Your Dad, and feature ten hour-long episodes.

A dating show with a difference for the whole family, the dating show will follow a group of single parents who have been nominated by their grown-up kids for a second chance at love.

Audiences will watch on as the single parents – from all over the UK, and all walks of life – live together at a stunning country house retreat with one objective: to find true love.

However, there is a twist; unbeknownst to the parents, their children will be watching their every move from a nearby location called The Bunker.

It is in the surveillance room that the matchmakers will witness their parents’ journeys to find love, and get the opportunity to decide their mum or dad’s dating fate.

The brand new series from Lifted Entertainment, part of ITV Studios, is set to air on ITV1 and ITVX this autumn.
