Punters in a Glasgow pub were surprised to find none other than Rod Stewart pulling pints behind the bar over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The 77-year-old crooner surprised fans in The Dirty Duchess in Finnieston on Saturday, hopping behind the bar to serve customers.
Decked out in a green and white striped tie and a green sleeveless jumper, the star was wearing his beloved football team Celtic’s colours ahead of Sunday’s Old Firm match in the city.
While it may have been an unusual sight to see, it’s not the first time a superstar has been spotted in Scotland in the unlikeliest of places.
Donald Sutherland eating cheese toasties in Aberdeen
Staff at cheese toastie shop Melt were stunned when movie star Donald Sutherland wandered in for a snack in 2017.
The Hunger Games actor stopped off at the sadly now closed shop in Aberdeen, picking up a cheese toastie and bottle of water before happily posing for pictures with staff.
The cafe even played host to veteran broadcaster Jon Snow, who stopped off for his own cheese toastie while reporting in Aberdeen.
Justin Bieber enjoying a chippy in Glasgow
After a night out on the tiles, many Glaswegians love to stop off for a supper and superstar Justin Bieber is no different.
Back in 2016, the singer popped into Blue Lagoon on Argyle Street after performing at the Hydro in Glasgow.
Reportedly ordering deep fried haggis and Irn Bru, Bieber also picked up fish suppers and battered sausages, adding that the fizzy Scottish delicacy was ‘lovely’.
Leonardo Di Caprio dining at The Citizen
Last year the Oscar-winning actor and environmentalist arrived in Glasgow for the COP26 climate summit.
Appearing at a number of events during the conference including a visit to Kelvingrove Museum alongside Prince Charles, he was spotted at city centre dining spot The Citizen.
The star was seen taking pictures with campaigners from the National Articulation of Indigenous Women Ancestrality Warriors, with indiginous educator Célia Xakriabá sharing the images on Instagram.
He went on to eat dinner at the restaurant and according to The Citizen, remarked that a 30-year-old Macallan whisky he tried from the bar was “bloody amazing”.
Vanessa Hudgens on a ghost tour in Edinburgh
The former High School Musical star is no stranger to Scotland, having filmed two Christmas movies in the city for Netflix.
During her downtime filming The Princess Switch: Switched Again, she joined her mother for a ghost tour in the city as well as popping into Edinburgh Dungeon to try her hand at an escape room.
She also celebrated her 31st birthday in CC Blooms, while sporting a tiara and sash.
Jon Hamm eating fried chicken at Bucks Bar
The Mad Men star was spotted everywhere in the city from Celtic Park to the Botanic Gardens when he was in Glasgow earlier this year.
Filming scenes for Amazon series Good Omens, he was often spotted dining with co-star Michael Sheen.
On one occasion, he visited Buck’s Bar on West Region Street and was happy to stop to take photos with fans and staff at the diner.
Vin Diesel leading a singalong on the Royal Mile
While the Fast and Furious star may have been in the middle of filming, he was still game for a laugh and launched a rousing singalong on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile in 2019.
Bursting into a rousing rendition of Flower of Scotland, he encouraged passers-by to join in for the impromptu singalong.
