Sir David Beckham to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Footballer Sir David Beckham is set to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the former England captain will be honoured with a ceremony at 6819 Hollywood Boulevard on Friday June 12.

Actor Tom Cruise and Sir David’s wife Victoria will speak at the event, with the 51-year-old receiving the walk’s 2,849th star.

Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said: “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome David Beckham to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
