Sir Rod Stewart is set to perform a show in Aberdeen later this year after he extended his UK tour with additional dates.

The pop legend had added extra shows in Glasgow, London, Birmingham and a new one in Aberdeen after his initial concert dates successfully sold out.

Sir Rod will take to the stage in Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on November 29 and December 3 and will also perform at Aberdeen’s P&J Live arena on December 2.

The tour will kick off following the release of the star’s 31st studio album The Tears of Hercules.

A spokesperson said: “Following the success of his previous sold-out tours, Rod’s 2022 shows promise to be filled with show-stopping classics and new hits in his unmissable captivating style.

“Rod Stewart is one of the best-selling artists in the history of recorded music, with an estimated 250 million records and singles sold worldwide. His performance will include fan favourites from across his impressive career, as well as being the first to hear live performances of tracks from his most recent album.”

Tickets for the latest added dates will go on sale on Friday, March 25, at 9am.
