The launch of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing has been moved to a new date in the wake of the Queen’s death.
The BBC have announced the launch show will now air on Friday September 23, having previously been set to return to screens this Saturday.
The first live show will then follow on Saturday, September 24.
The 20th series of the ballroom dancing show announced its line-up last month, including Coronation Street star Kym Marsh, presenter Helen Skelton and former X-Factor contestant Fleur East.
Doubt was cast over the show’s launch when the Queen passed away on September 8.
The monarch’s funeral will take place on Monday, September 19.
