The broadcaster will show live games and highlights throughout the tournament that gets under way with Scotland’s clash with hosts Germany in Munich on June 14.
Presenters Mark Pougatch and Laura Woods will be joined by a panel of former professionals including ex-Rangers manager Graeme Souness and former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou.
Also on the panel will be Roy Keane, Ian Wright, Gary Neville, Karen Carney and Eni Aluko with refereeing analyst Christina Unkel will be giving her take on the officials.
Commentary will come from Sam Matterface, Clive Tyldesley, Seb Hutchinson, Pien Meulensteen and Joe Speight, supported by co-commentators Rangers legend Ally McCoist, Lee Dixon and Andros Townsend, with Connie McLaughlin reporting on the Scotland squad.
UK television coverage of the tournament kicks off on STV and STV Player – plus ITV & ITVX outside Scotland – on June 14, with exclusive live coverage of the opening match.
STV will show England’s final Group game against Slovenia and will have picks one, two and three of the round of 16 as well as first pick of the semi-finals.
STV will show what is likely to be one of the most anticipated early tournament games – the Group B match between Spain, who are among the favourites, and Italy, the holders. STV’s Group stage coverage includes games featuring many pundits’ favourites, France (against Austria on 17 June) as well as other heavy-hitters in Portugal (v Turkey on 22 June), Croatia (v Spain on 15 June) and Belgium (v Slovakia on 17 June).
Moving into the knockout rounds, STV will have the first three picks, plus the fifth and seventh picks from the round of 16 ties, the second and fourth quarter-final picks and first pick of the semi-finals. Both STV and the BBC will show the final.
Bobby Hain, managing director of Broadcast at STV, said: “We’re thrilled that STV is home to some of the most exciting matches of Euro 2024, including the all-important opener between Scotland and Germany on 14 June.
