A trailer for the new Fast and The Furious movie that was partly shot in Edinburgh has been released.
F9 The Fast Saga, starring Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson, will be released in cinemas on May 22.
Several scenes from the big budget Hollywood blockbuster were shot in the capital’s Old and New towns last year.
The Royal Mile, Waterloo Place, George Street and Melville Street will all make an appearance on the big screen for the latest version of the long running franchise.
Around 800 crew members, including 375 local hires, worked on the production, which was described by the city council as “one of the largest and most complex shoots” Edinburgh has ever seen.
The 3.5 minute video was shred on to the movie’s official Twitter page on Friday night.
It has since been viewed more than seven million times, re-tweeted 50,000 times and liked by around 104,000 people.
