TRNSMT has added more than 50 new acts to this year’s line-up.
AJ Tracey, Amy Macdonald, Jimmy Eat World, Declan McKenna, Joesef, Sea Girls, The Ninth Wave and many others will join already-announced headliners Courteeners, Liam Gallagher and Lewis Capaldi at the three-day festival in Glasgow this summer.
Mr Rock & Roll singer Amy Macdonald said: “This will be my first TRNSMT and it’s amazing to be able to play a huge festival in the middle of my home town which has become such an important showcase for Scotland’s rich musical talent.
“I’m so excited to be back in front of the great Glasgow crowd and relish the challenge of proving just how much women can really rock on the big festival stage.”
Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown, Foals, Snow Patrol, Twin Atlantic and Rita Ora were amongst the acts announced in the first wave.
On Friday, organisers revealed that Dermot Kennedy, Loyle Carner, Georgia, Beabadoobee, Tamzene, Declan Welsh & The Decadent West and Ms Banks would join them.
Indie legends Ash, Vistas and The Regrettes have also been added to the bill.
Lewis Capaldi-approved Luke La Volpe will also perform.
He said: “Class to be going to TRNSMT again this year and even better that I’m playing there for the first time.
“It’s a boyhood dream to play the big festivals so this is going to be huge. Let’s have it Glasgow.”
TRNSMT will take place at Glasgow Green between July 10-12.
Tickets are on sale now.
