A road in the Highlands reopened four hours after it was partially closed due to a wildfire.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the A830 at Lochailort at around 4.40pm on Thursday.
Police Scotland confirmed the road was closed 1.5 miles on either side of Lochailort and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
Trains between Glenfinnan and Lochailort were blocked as a result of the blaze.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road was cleared just after 9pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson said: “All lanes now running in both directions between Fort William and Mallaig following an earlier hazard nearby.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.27pm on Wednesday, April 23 to a fire in the open near the A830 at Lochailort.
“At its height, four fire appliances attended the scene and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a large area of grass measuring approximately 30 to 40 acres.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left the scene at approximately 7.24am on Friday, April 25.”
