A9 closed after crash between motorbike and van

The A9 has been closed after a crash between a motorbike and a van near a village in Caithness.

Emergency services were called to the road north of Dunbeath at around 3pm on Tuesday.

The road has been closed in both directions.

It is unknown if anyone is injured as a result of the crash.

Drivers are being advised to find an alternative route.
