Major road closed overnight after lorry crash

The A9 was shut in both directions overnight following a lorry crash.

The collision happened northbound at Dalnaspidal near Loch Garry at around 1am on Friday.

Emergency services closed the road in both directions as they dealt with “ongoing road traffic incident involving a lorry”.

It remains partially shut after one lane reopened at around 3am.

A Traffic Scotland statement said: “Please continue to take care when passing.”
