A major road in the Scottish Highlands was shut in both directions overnight following a serious two-vehicle crash.
The collision happened on the A9 Inverness to Perth road, north of Dalwhinnie, close to the junction with the A889 at around 8pm on Sunday.

The extent of any injuries is unclear at this time.

“The stop message was received at 10.13pm, with the last appliance leaving the scene at around 10.27pm.”
