A major road has closed near Nairn following a two-car crash.
Police were called to the A939, near the junction of the B9007, after being made aware of the crash at around 7.35am on Friday.
The fire service deployed two appliances to assist after receiving a request from the Scottish ambulance services.
It is currently unknown if there are any injuries.
Officers are advising motorists to use an alternative route.
A police spokesman said: “We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A939 near the junction with the B9007 south of Nairn shortly after 7.35am on Friday, November 25.
“The road is closed, and emergency services are currently at the scene.”
