A major road has been closed in both directions due to a two-car collision in the Highlands.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the A99 at Thrumster was closed around 2.15pm on Monday.
Emergency Services attended the scene.
Officers confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the incident and no “serious” injuries were reported.
Police added that enquiries into the crash are “ongoing”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.15pm on Monday, 15 January 2024 police received a report of a two vehicle crash on the A99 at Thrumster, Wick.
“There were no reports of any serious injuries and the road was closed for a short period of time to allow the vehicles to be removed.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
