An urgent appeal for help has been issued after a woman disappeared from Inverness city centre early on Thursday morning.
Louise Macintyre was last seen at around 5.05am.
Police Scotland is asking the public for help to trace the 37-year-old whose family contacted officers after they had not heard from her.
The force asked anyone who knows where Ms Macintyre is to get in touch and urged her to contact family or police herself to let them know she is safe.
She is described as 5ft 5in in height, of slim build, with long brown hair and lip piercings.
Police said she was last seen wearing a grey jumper, black leggings, light coloured trainers and was carrying a black Adidas bag.
Constable Liam Simpson said: “Louise’s family contacted police after they hadn’t heard from her today. We would appeal to anyone who knows where Louise is, or who has any information that may assist police trace her, to get in touch with police.
“We’d also ask Louise herself to contact her family or police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
Information can be passed to officers via 101 quoting reference number 1815 of Thursday, June 16, 2022.
