A man has died after being found injured in a house on Orkney on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to a property on South Ronaldsay at around 7.30am after reports that a man was badly hurt.
Medical staff attended and the 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were also in attendance and they have since confirmed that a 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
A police spokesman confirmed the incident and said enquires are continuing.
