A biker has been airlifted to hospital after a crash with a campervan on the A82 in the Highlands.
The incident, involving a Peugeot Carado campervan and a BMW R1300 motorbike, happened near Lochend at around 4.30pm on Thursday.
The 57-year-old male rider of the motorbike was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he remains in a serious condition.
The occupants of the Peugeot Carado were not injured.
The 46-year-old male campervan driver was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries.
Following crash investigations, the road reopened around 11.30pm.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson said: “I’m appealing to anyone who was travelling on the A82 around 4.30pm yesterday and saw what happened to contact us.
“Likewise, if you saw either vehicle prior to the collision and have information which may assist our investigation, please get in touch.
“I’d also ask drivers with dash-cam footage to review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
