Police ScotlandA body has been found in search of an American man missing in Glencoe during a hillwalking trip.
Timothy Rosser was due to be hillwalking in the area but failed to check into his pre-booked hotels.
The 60-year-old was last seen leaving his hotel in Edinburgh in a black MG hire car, which was later spotted in Glencoe on Tuesday.
Police confirmed that around 6.50pm on Sunday, the body of a man was recovered in the Glencoe area.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but Mr Rosser’s family has been informed.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The death is not believed to be suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
