A body found in the Highlands is believed to be that of a man reported missing from his home in London over two months ago.
Police were called to a woodland area in Nethy Bridge, Strathspey after the discovery was made around 7.50am on Thursday.
Emergency services, including mountain rescue teams, attended the scene and the body of a man was recovered.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but police said the family of Marc Drostle, who was reported missing after travelling to Aviemore in December, has been informed.
The 28-year-old travelled to the area on December 12 and was reported missing on December 21.
