Rescuers searching for a climber missing in the Highlands following an avalanche have found a body.
The discovery was made on Aonach Mor on Sunday afternoon nine days after Andrew Vine was last seen. A formal identification has yet to be made.
Mr Vine, 41, from Manchester, was last seen around Friday, February 28 on the west face of the mountain.
Members of Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team had been involved in a protracted search.
The discovery came after a significant loss of snow over the weekend, according to the team.
The search had involved approximately 800 man hours by volunteers from three mountain rescue teams and the coastguard helicopter.
The operation had been hampered by heavy snow fall and adverse weather conditions.
