Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing 62-year-old woman from Inverness.

Isla Reid was last seen in the Lochardil area on Saturday, June 11, at around 2pm.

Police have appealed for information in the search for Ms Reid, with her disappearance described as being “out of character”.

The local community is being asked to search outbuildings, sheds and gardens.

Ms Reid is described as being 5ft 7in, of very slim build, with fair blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is believed to have been wearing a dark, waterproof jacket, with dark coloured trousers and was carrying a brown leather backpack.

Anyone who thinks they may have seen Ms Reid, or has any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 3155 of June 11, 2022.
