Police ScotlandThe concerns for the welfare of a missing man from the Highlands are “growing”, says Police Scotland.
John Prentice was reported missing from the Rannoch Place area of Balintore at around 1.30pm on Sunday.
The 67-year-old is described as being white, around 5ft 3in tall, of large build, with greying hair. He was last seen wearing a mustard-coloured t-shirt, navy jogging bottoms and blue trainers.
John is believed to be driving a grey Mazda CX5, registration SY75 CUC.
Sergeant Hilary Simpson said: “Concerns for John are growing and we are keen to trace him as soon as possible.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have seen him, or has any information on where he may be, to contact us.”
Those with information are urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 3207 of Sunday, January 18, 2026.
