A cyclist has been left with serious injuries following a crash with a car in Inverness on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Southside Road at the junction with Kingsmill Road at around 3.50pm.
The incident involved a bicycle and a grey Peugeot car. A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Constable Jordan Scott said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and has yet to speak to officers to come forward with any information.
“I would ask those who were driving in the area at the time, or who have private CCTV nearby, to please review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.”
