iStockA man was found dead on a Scottish island on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Craighouse on the Isle of Jura following the death of a 22-year-old man at around 11.40am.
Officers said the death is being treated as unexplained.
Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.40am on Sunday, 27 April 2025 we received a report of concern for a person near to Craighouse on the Isle of Jura.
“A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and the death is being treated as unexplained.”
