A driver had a near miss after her work van was destroyed by a tree during Storm Floris.
Keighly Jessica Perry from Inverness was left shocked after her windshield was smashed in multiple places by a falling tree on Monday.
It comes as an amber alert was issued for much of the country, lasting from 10am until 11pm on Monday, with gusts of 50 to 70mph forecast.
Some parts are likely to reach 80 to 90mph on some exposed coasts, hills, and bridges.
Heavy rain is also forecast for some areas, and gusts could reach 90mph in exposed spots.
The forecaster has urged the public to stay indoors “as much as possible” with high winds creating a risk of injury.

Ms Perry, who runs Miss Fits Mobile Tyre Fitting, shared a video of her van’s windshield following the impact of the tree.
The roof of the van was also heavily damaged.
She was driving at the time her vehicle was hit, and urged fellow drivers not to travel unless necessary.
She told STV News: “I was driving home from a job and wanted to head back home because it was really wild, and the next minute, a tree smashed my window and landed straight on the roof, caving it in.
“My van is now absolutely knackered, please do not travel unless absolutely necessary.”
A number of travel routes on rail, road and ferry journeys have been cancelled and disrupted throughout Monday due to “unseasonably” strong winds.
Police confirmed campervans were blown over on the A87 and urged drivers to remain parked and delay travel.
A number of roads are closed in the north of the country due to fallen trees and flooding, including the A96 between Huntly and Inverurie.
