Firefighters have been called to a blaze at a wood processing factory in the Highlands.
Around 40 firefighters were mobilised in seven fire appliances shortly after 3.40pm following reports of a blaze affecting a commercial property chimney off the A96 near Dalcross, Inverness.
The property is understood to be the former Norbord plant, now owned by West Fraser.
Images of the blaze show part of the plant on fire, with dark smoke billowing from the flames.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) have confirmed that there are no reported casualties at this time and crews are still at the scene.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.41pm on Thursday, July 7 to reports of a fire affecting a commercial property chimney off the A96 near to Dalcross, Inverness.
“Operations Control mobilised seven fire appliances and one height vehicle to the scene and approximately 40 firefighters are tackling a fire affecting the building.
“There are no reported casualties at this time and crews are still at the scene.”
