TwitterFans were treated to performances by Emeli Sande and Van Morrison as an iconic music festival in the Highlands made its return for the first time in three years.
The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival closed on Saturday after three days of music.
It was the first time the festival, held at Beauly near Inverness, had taken place since before the Covid-19 pandemic.
TwitterThe festival was cancelled in both 2020 and in 2021, despite hopes that it would be possible to hold last year.
Ticket holders from 2021 were offered the option to transfer their tickets to this year’s event.
Around 20,000 people attended the festival, which has grown in popularity since it was first held in 2004.
TwitterAmongst other names to perform were The Fratellis, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Passenger, and Shed Seven.
Daði Freyr, who represented Iceland in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, also appeared.
However, this year’s Eurovision runner-up, the UK’s Sam Ryder, had to withdraw from the festival due to illness.
