A walker had to be airlifted to hospital after getting into trouble on the Cape Wrath trail during adverse weather.
Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team in Garve was called to help find the man around 3.30am on Saturday alongside a rescue helicopter.
The volunteer team assembled in “very challenging” conditions as Storm Amy battered the country with winds of up to 96mph.
The crew searched the casualty’s last known position and bothies at Achneigie and Shenavall but were unable to find him.
The man was eventually found sheltering behind a large boulder and suffering from mild hyopthermia.

Crews were able to uplift the man and take him to Stornaway hospital to be assessed.
A spokesperson said: “Thanks to all who braved the weather and helped bring this incident to a happy conclusion
“Always check the weather forecast and plan accordingly, always have a backup plan and never be afraid to cancel your plans for the day. There is always tomorrow.”
