Police in the Highlands are hunting for the owner of a German Shepherd crossbreed after a person was attacked by the dog.

Officers in Nairn are appealing for information to identify a female owner of a black Alsatian/Malinois dog, which was “out of control” when injuring a person on the High Street Brae.

This attack happened at about 1pm on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Anyone who witnessed what happened or has information as to the owner of the dog is asked to contact police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
