Inverness man’s ‘unusual’ disappearance sparks concern amid missing person search Police Scotland

Police have launched a bid to trace a man missing from Inverness after an “out of character” disappearance.

Christopher Nisbet was last seen in the Leachkin area at around 7.40pm on Tuesday, August 29 but has failed to contact friends or family since.

Officers say it is “unlike” Mr Nisbet to go missing and concerns are now growing over his welfare.

He is described as white, around 6ft 4in tall with short brown hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans when he was last seen.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or thinks they may have seen him is urged to contact police on 101, quoting 3420 of August 29 urgently.

Officers are also appealing to Mr Nisbet directly to let them know he is safe and well.
